Blogging in the midst of summer is not so easy as a B&B owner, luckily! We feel so blessed for having such great guests, wouldn’t wanna change the way Villa Ottilia has turned out to be! A great mix of new guests, returning guests & friends.
This week we’re giving all our attention to one guest, which means that we have a little bit of blooging time available 🙂
Here it goes:
Big clean up in the herbal zone!
Wonder when these ghost looking packages of herbs will be done?
Across the olive groves and wineyards, just a stone throw away we enjoyed a progressive”Carmen” which took us through the Opera and Masseria Terra Marina all at once.
Thank You, to all the wonderful performers!!
Oria Jazz 2014, in the Piazza in front of the Basilica.
What a back drop, dramatic to say the least.
Some Mid Season Maintenance
Living in Puglia requires yearly refreshing!
When the plums are ripe, you better get to them immediately or else it is all on the ground…
This time marmelade making with lemon & ginger
Plums, plums, plums… Three liters of Plum Saunce should get us through the winter and all the dumpling making planned! Might use some for a pork roast as well…
That’s it for today folks, we’ll be back with some party photos next week surely as we are celebrating a 1944 birthday boy for the whole week!!!
